Meet the Expert Dedicated to Your Athletic Future

Quincy Jones

Founder & Head Scout

Passionate Leader. Proven Recruiter. Dedicated Mentor.

With over a decade of experience in collegiate basketball coaching and recruiting, Quincy Jones has dedicated his career to helping student-athletes maximize their potential and secure opportunities at the next level. Currently in his third year as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Wolves men’s basketball team, Jones played a crucial role in the team’s Region IV and District Championships, leading to an NJCAA Division III National Tournament appearance.

A Track Record of Recruiting and Development

Jones’ ability to identify, mentor, and develop top-tier talent was evident long before his time with the Wolves. From 2009 to 2019, he served as an assistant coach for the PSC women’s basketball team, helping the program achieve unprecedented success, including:

  • Two Conference Championships (2011, 2013)
  • PSC’s First-Ever Region IV Championship & National Tournament Berth (2012)
  • Recruiting PSC’s Only All-American Selection – Ryan Edwards

Jones’ impact extends beyond wins and accolades. His holistic approach to athlete development ensures that players are not only prepared for success on the court but also in the classroom and beyond.

A Personal Journey Rooted in Discipline and Excellence

Before transitioning into coaching, Jones forged his path as both an athlete and a military veteran. A graduate of Thornridge High School, he served in the United States Air Force during Desert Storm, where he developed the leadership, discipline, and perseverance that now define his coaching style. After his service, he played basketball at the University of Nebraska-Omaha (now Omaha University) from 1996 to 1998, gaining firsthand experience in the rigors of collegiate athletics and the recruitment process.

Building Opportunities Beyond the Game

Jones’ passion for mentorship extends beyond the court. As the owner of Infinite Possibilities Home Inspection Services, he embodies the entrepreneurial mindset that he instills in the athletes he works with—preparing them for life beyond sports.

A devoted husband and father, Jones is married to his wife FaLisa, and they share three children: Kyra, Quentin, and Teylor. His son, Quentin, is currently excelling as a sophomore basketball player at Northern Illinois, carrying on the family’s deep-rooted love for the game.

A Trusted Leader in the Recruiting Space

Jones’ eye for talent, deep network of college connections, and unwavering commitment to athlete success make him a respected figure in the scouting and recruitment landscape. Wolves head coach Danny Turner describes him as:

“A quality person with a genuine concern for the overall development of student-athletes. He brings sound insight and skill to the recruitment part of our program.”

Now, through Coach Q Scouting and Evaluations, Jones continues his mission—guiding aspiring student-athletes to college opportunities, ensuring they receive the recognition and support they deserve in their athletic journeys. Check out my Facebook Page
